The 106 vehicles will be increased by another dozen vans and 4 electric vehicles in a comprehensive rental with tyres and full insurance. TESCO has also chosen electric vehicles for its fleet because of the many benefits of owning them. These include the absence of carbon dioxide emissions, as well as other harmful pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, lower operating costs than vehicles with internal combustion engines (ICE), and simpler and cheaper maintenance.
