MHC Mobility becomes GLS Poland's Mobility Partner in Fleet Electrification

GLS Poland, a valued provider of courier services, and MHC Mobility, a leading provider of fleet services, have entered into cooperation to electrify the GLS car fleet. With environmental protection in mind, GLS is consistently modernizing its fleet, while ensuring sustainable business mobility with MHC Mobility.

- The idea of sustainable development is a key element of our long-term strategy. Our ambition is to achieve complete climate neutrality by 2045, and we intend to replace all company cars with electric ones by 2030. We also want 50% of vehicles in the transport fleet of partners working with us to be low- or zero-emission cars by then. - emphasizes Andrzej Wasielewski, director of domestic operations and infrastructure of GLS Poland.

The agreement encompasses a 36-month vehicle lease and covers financing, delivery, and servicing of a fleet of 24 vehicles. This fleet exclusively consists of electric Renault Megane E-Tech models, which represent a true revolution in mobility. These fully electric vehicles are equipped with numerous technological innovations that are transforming the face of transportation. The dynamic silhouette combining features from both classic hatchbacks and SUVs, along with a cockpit featuring a huge 774cm² open touchscreen and intuitive switches, provide exceptional driving comfort and an unforgettable experience.

Ordering electric vehicles for the GLS fleet through MHC Mobility demonstrates the highest level of trust and customer satisfaction. GLS Poland has acknowledged our extensive experience and leading position as a fleet services provider, as well as our expertise in electromobility solutions" adds Filip Grząślewicz, Regional Business Manager of MHC Mobility.

The ceremonial handover of the 24 electric vehicles took place at the Renault Karlik dealership in Poznań. The event was attended by vehicle users, as well as representatives from MHC Mobility, GLS Poland, Renault Polska, and the dealership. The event was enriched by GLS presentations on business responsibility towards the natural environment and MHC Mobility's presentations on vehicle servicing. Renault representatives also discussed the technology and features of the new vehicles. Symbolic keys from MHC & GLS were also presented.

During the ceremony, we also awarded GLS with the "Together on the Road to Carbon Footprint Reduction" statuette, which honors our clients for their significant contribution in this area. This is the third company to receive this award from MHC Mobility. This statuette symbolizes our commitment to reducing negative environmental impact," emphasizes Sandra Szkwarek, Head of Marketing & Product Development CEE.

The collaboration between GLS Poland and MHC Mobility marks another step towards a sustainable future for the vehicle fleet, all while maintaining high operational efficiency. This partnership serves as an inspiring example of synergy between the logistics sector and fleet services providers, contributing to reducing the environmental impact of transportation.
